Well I’ve been using virtual assistants for a number of years now, I currently have 5 that I use on a regular basic and they are in cities all over the world. In recent years we have been having a lot of sickness and on average at least one VA has been out of action in any given month.
The other thing that became apparent was that some of my VA’s were a little on the large size, this really came into focus when of them (no names but you know who you are Jane) had an accident. While busy working on a project her chair collapsed under the weight. I have to admit at the time it was very funny, she wasn’t hurt (only her pride and the chair) so we all had a good laugh. It’s not easy keeping or getting in shape when you earn your living sitting behind a desk all day, even a walk to the fridge can be an effort.
So we all (me included) decided to look for a diet plan that would help us, and we hoped also to combine this with some regular exercise breaks. We looked at meal replacement diets, low carb etc. It was then suggested that we look at the Paleo Diet or Caveman Diet. The irony that we were going to use the diet of Paleolithic Man while we were working in a very 21st century industry wasn’t lost on us.
A friend suggested a website Paleo Diet Power and from there we bought a great product called Paleoburn, so far everyone is sticking to the diet and to make it a little more interesting I am offering a $500 prize each month to the VA who loses the most weight. There are also many other health benefits to this Paleo lifestyle, such as reduced blood pressure and stress. I hope it works out and will make another post in a month with an update.
